Here is a short list of sites that appear to be providing some of the best updates about Standing Rock and discussions of its impact:
Lakota People's Law Project Videos - Lakota Law produces many videos that have information and updates you can't get anywhere else. It's a little hard to find all the videos on their web site, so check their Youtube page.
KPFA Radio - many of KPFA's radio shows feature updates or discussions about Standing Rock. For more info on KPFA, see the Radio / Webcasts / Podcasts section below.
Honor the Earth's Facebook page - This Facebook page features constant updates about Native American fossil fuel resistance, including Standing Rock.
Yes! Magazine - They continue to write articles about Standing Rock.
EarthJustice: Standing Rock Litigation FAQ - Besides Lakota Law, probably the one of the most informative sources for updates on Standing Rock's legal battle. But it hasn't been updated since 12/2017.

May 19, 2017 - Tavis Smiley interviews Winona LaDuke
Great interview on PBS! Environmental activist Winona LaDuke discusses her documentary "First Daughter and the Black Snake" on the Tavis Smiley Show. She mentions how tens of thousands of people were inspired by Standing Rock and are carrying on protecting water and fighting pipelines everywhere. A graduate of Harvard and Antioch Universities, she has written and spoken extensively on Native American, environmental and social justice issues. She has also been interviewed many times on Democracy Now!

KPFA Radio (KPFA 94.1) continues to provide updates about Standing Rock. Several of their shows feature occasional updates about Standing Rock, including: "Bay Native Circle" Wednesdays 7 pm (explores "today’s Native issues, people, culture & events"), “Hard Knock Radio” weekdays 4-5 pm. “Flashpoints” with Dennis Bernstein, weekdays 5-6 pm. Dennis Bernstein has provided outstanding coverage on Standing Rock, up to the disbanding of the camps. “Guns & Butter” with Bonnie Faulkner, Wednesdays 1-2 pm. “Living Room” Saturdays 12 noon - 1 pm (this show appears to have been discontinued?), "La Onda Bajita" Fridays 8 pm. Note that every KPFA episode that mentions Standing Rock may not be listed, so not all episodes that feature an update on Standing Rock will come up on a site search, unfortunately.

Chief Arvol Looking Horse, who led the protests against the Dakota pipeline at Standing Rock, will narrate the documentary film, “The White Snake”, about alternative energies to oil. ...The Black Snake represents the dark destructive consciousness of humankind up to now. “But all of this is about to change and the era of the White Snake is coming. An era of a return to the origins, to consciousness and renewed ethics,” said Chief Arvol.
